Router Setup Guide: TP-Link MR6400
Step-1. Connect the router
(1) Install the 4G LTE antennas and position them upwards.
(2) Insert the SIM card into the slot until you hear a click (Note that we provide you with the SIM card by post).
(3) Turn on the router.
(4) Verify the hardware connection by checking the following LED's status. If the internet LED is on, your router is connected to the internet successfully.
Note that for a better internet connection, make sure 3 to 4 bars of the Signal Strength LED are lit. Otherwise, relocate the router to a location that receives a strong mobile internet signal, such as near a window.
Step-2. Access the router
(1) Open a web browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and type the default gateway address (e.g. 192.168.1.1).
Note that the PC you use should be connected to the router via Wired (LAN port) or Wireless (Wi-Fi).
(2) Enter a password for login (Default: admin)
Step-3. Setup the router (3G/4G Router Operation Mode)
(1) Select your Time Zone: GMT_12:00 Wellington
(2) SIM:
- Profile Name: Feenix
- PDP Type: IPv4 & IPv6
- APN Type: Static
- APN: ws.feenix.fwa
- Username: N/A
- Password: N/A
- Authentication Type: NONE
Note that if you cannot select [Feenix], you need to create [Feenix] profile. Please go to [Advanced] tab, and then click [Create Profile].
Put the information and then go to the Quick Setup again to finish process.
- Profile Name: Feenix
- PDP Type: IPv4 & IPv6
- APN Type: Static
- APN: ws.feenix.fwa
- Username: N/A
- Password: N/A
- Authentication Type: NONE
(3) Wireless Settings: You can create a Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and password
(4) Connection Test
